As Assistant Editor of Medical Times, Tamara Magularia plays a vital role in supporting the editorial and publishing workflow, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to academic standards. She oversees manuscript processing and initial screening, reviewing submissions for compliance with journal guidelines, formatting, and ethical standards before peer review. She coordinates the peer review process, manages reviewer assignments, tracks progress, and ensures timely feedback while maintaining a fair and transparent evaluation. Additionally, she provides editorial and production support, assisting in editing, proofreading, and formatting accepted manuscripts for final publication. She also facilitates communication with authors, reviewers, and the editorial board, resolving queries and streamlining editorial operations.

Tamara, a distinguished expert in reproductive health and endocrinology, has an extensive background in both clinical practice and scientific research. She contributed significantly to the field of infertility treatment, assisted conception, and reproductive endocrinology. Throughout her 30+ years of experience, she has actively engaged in scientific publishing, authorship of national guidelines, and international research collaborations. Notably, she is the author of the National Guidelines of Family Planning under the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and has been an investigator in a WHO-sponsored study on fertility regulation methods in Eastern Europe. As a professor at Tbilisi Medical Academy since 1999, she has contributed to numerous academic publications, national health policies, and reproductive health training programs.
